About the job:
As an Associate Fashion Designer at Aaalski Design Studio, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and passion for fashion. With your expertise in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and fashion designing, you will play a key role in bringing our designs to life.
Key responsibilities:
1. Looking for Fashion Designer for men's ethnic wear.
2. Collaborate with the design team to create innovative and trend-setting fashion collections
3. Assist in conducting market research and trend analysis to stay ahead of the curve
4. Develop detailed tech packs and sketches for production
5. Work closely with manufacturers to ensure quality control and timely delivery of products
6. Participate in fittings and make necessary adjustments to garments
7. Create mood boards and presentations for design pitches
8. Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continually enhance your design skills

Job description
Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced and creative Casual Shirt Designer to join our design
team. The role requires in-depth knowledge of shirt design, from concept development
through to final production, with a strong understanding of market trends, fabrics, trims,
and fits. The ideal candidate will have experience designing for domestic and/or export
markets and should be able to blend creativity with commercial viability.
Key Responsibilities
1. Trend Market Research
• Monitor global and domestic fashion trends, colors, patterns, and silhouettes specific to casual shirts.
• Conduct seasonal market surveys, competitor analysis, and store visits to identify emerging styles.
• Translate trend research into mood boards and seasonal design directions.
2. Concept Development & Design Creation
• Design and develop seasonal collections aligned with brand identity and target customer
• preferences.
• Create theme boards, color palettes, and storylines for each season.
• Develop original prints, embroidery designs, and wash effects suitable for casual shirts.
3. Technical Design Sampling
• Prepare detailed tech packs with design sketches, measurements, trims, and fabric details.
• Coordinate with the sampling unit for prototype development and ensure samples meet
• design intent.
• Fit garments on live models or mannequins, making necessary corrections for perfect fit and finish.
4. Fabric & Trim Selection
• Source and select suitable fabrics, washes, buttons, threads, and trims.
• Work with suppliers and mills to develop custom fabrics or prints where required.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with merchandising, sourcing, and production teams to ensure designs
• meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Participate in vendor meetings and provide design guidance during production. Presentation & Approvals
• Present design concepts, samples, and seasonal collections to management for review
Incorporate feedback while maintaining design integrity.
7. Production Support
• Support production teams during bulk manufacturing to ensure adherence to design
• specifications.
• Resolve any design-related issues that arise during production.
8. Documentation & Database Maintenance
• Maintain an organized database of designs, fabric swatches, trims, and approved samples.
• Archive seasonal collections for reference and future development.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or a related
field.
Experience: Minimum 1 to * years of experience in designing casual shirts for reputed
fashion brands, exporters, or retail chains.
Software Skills: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, and CAD tools.
Core Competencies
Salary :- 6 to 13 LPA
