Fashion Designer – OSAA by Adarsh (Luxury Couture)
Location - Kolkata, India | Full-time | On-site

OSAA by Adarsh is a luxury couture label known for its intricate craftsmanship, rich textiles, and timeless silhouettes. Rooted in Indian heritage yet defined by modern artistry, OSAA creates ensembles that celebrate culture through contemporary design expression.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Fashion Designer with a refined understanding of silhouettes, drape, and textile innovation to join our design team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experimental with fabric manipulation, and deeply attuned to the visual language of Indian couture.
This role requires close collaboration with our Creative Director and production teams to translate ideas into compelling, wearable art.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conceptualize and design seasonal collections aligned with OSAA’s luxury couture aesthetic.
• Develop strong, balanced silhouettes with thoughtful proportions, construction, and flow.
• Experiment with textile development — including embroidery techniques, fabric textures, and surface ornamentation.
• Create detailed sketches, technical drawings, and mood boards for presentation.
• Work with sampling and production units to ensure design precision from concept to completion.
• Source and collaborate with fabric vendors, embroidery units, and dyeing houses.
• Stay updated with fashion trends, materials, and evolving couture sensibilities while maintaining brand DNA.
Desired Skills & Qualities:
Exceptional sense of silhouette, proportion, and drape.
Strong understanding of Indian textiles, embroidery, and craftsmanship.
Ability to translate creative ideas into ready patterns and prototypes.
A keen eye for detail, color harmony, and finishing.
Team player with strong communication and organizational skills.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design (NIFT / NID / Pearl / equivalent).
2–5 years of experience in luxury, couture, or bridal design.
Portfolio demonstrating an understanding of silhouette and textile innovation is mandatory.
