Full Job Description
We are seeking a talented Knitted Fashion Designer to join our team. As a Knitted
Fashion Designer, you will be responsible for creating innovative and stylish knitted
garments and accessories that appeal to our target audience. You will be involved in the
design process from ideation to production, and work closely with our team to ensure
that our products meet our high-quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Research and identify emerging trends in knitted fashion, and develop design
concepts accordingly.
Create sketches and technical drawings of knitted garments and accessories,
and translate them into digital designs using computer software.
Collaborate with other designers, product developers, and technicians to ensure
that designs are technically feasible and cost-effective.
Select appropriate materials, colors, and patterns for each design, and oversee
the sourcing and purchasing of materials.
Produce and manage technical specifications for each design, including yarn
selection, stitch patterns, and garment construction details.
Work with production teams to oversee the production process, and ensure that
nal products meet design specifications and quality standards.
Attend trade shows and other industry events to stay up-to-date on the latest
trends and network with other industry professionals.
