Location : Lakhotia College of Design - (Hyderabad / Mention Specific Campus)

Job Type : Full-Time

Experience Required : 2-10 years (Academic and/or Industry)

Qualification : Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Fashion Design or related discipline

Key Responsibilities :

- Deliver engaging and up-to-date lectures in Fashion Design, Garment Construction, Pattern Making, Textile Science, and Fashion Communication.

- Develop curriculum, lesson plans, and course materials that align with current industry standards and academic excellence.

- Mentor and guide students through practical projects, fashion shows, industry internships, and final portfolios.

- Coordinate with other departments and industry professionals to provide guest lectures, workshops, and real-world exposure.

- Evaluate student progress through assignments, assessments, and feedback sessions.

- Participate in faculty meetings, curriculum development committees, and college events.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong academic background and/or proven industry experience in fashion design.

- Excellent knowledge of pattern drafting, draping, garment construction, têxtiles, and design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CLO 3D preferred).

- Passion for teaching and mentoring young creative minds.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- A proactive, collaborative, and innovative approach to education.

Preferred :

- Previous teaching experience in a reputed design institution.

- Portfolio of personal or student work.

- Industry exposure through fashion shows, styling projects, or brand collaborations.
