Fashion Import Textil Print Designer

At Simons, textil print designers are key contributors to our innovation triangle and play a central role in developing our exclusive creations. Working within the Imports team, the person in this role collaborates closely with the Buying team, as well as with Coordinating Designers, to contribute to the creation of prints and patterns for our exclusive collections.
Main Responsibilities:
Develop and propose various prints and patterns for our exclusive collections.
Ensure the commercial reinterpretation of trends and colour combinations.
Continuously evolve prints, patterns, embroideries, logos, and colourways across seasons to reflect the latest trends and meet the needs of our clientele.
Conduct research and trend analysis related to fashion and design.
Profile Sought:
Demonstrate strong creativity and a passion for both women’s and men’s fashion.
Hold a bachelor’s degree in graphic design, management, fashion design, visual arts, or another related field, or have equivalent professional experience.
Be proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Show a strong interest in art and be skilled in various artistic mediums such as drawing, painting, or photography — considered an asset.
Possess solid organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure while meeting tight deadlines.
