Full Job Description
Partnership with upper management to ensure the company vision is reflected in all business decisions and that financial goals are met
Identify fashion trends and target markets, and develop product and color concepts using sales, market research, and customer feedback
Identify buying trends, establish merchandise categories, and develop product assortments
Research and analyze competitor products and pricing to assure that merchandise is priced competitively
Research product categories and seasonable trends, and approve the seasonal merchandise assortment and product mixes
Implement merchandising requirements within established budgets
Maintain product knowledge, including pricing, inventory levels, pricing, and levels of service
Track merchandising performance, including sales, profit, and return on investment
Design presentation material, including product detail sheets, signage, and shipping containers
Create and develop retail displays and fixtures
Analyze and report on sales performance
Requirements And Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in fashion merchandising, or related field
5+ years’ proven experience in fashion merchandising
Excellent communication skills in English
Knowledge of fashion trends and merchandising techniques
Ability to develop and maintain strong vendor relationships
Ability to work well with people
Ability to create original and eye-catching designs that appeal to our target market.
