THE OPPORTUNITY

The purpose of this role is to initialise workers compensation claims and be the first point of contact for our customers. You will also be responsible for managing low-risk liability decisions and providing timely handover of accepted claims to our specialised teams.
This is a permanent, full time position based in our Melbourne office, with the flexibility to work from home up to 3 days.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders in line with EML Values.
Reviewing and analysing claims and making appropriate claims management decisions within allocated time frames and in accordance with EML policies, procedures and compliance requirements.
Preparing accurate digital claim profiles, documentation, letters and reports in accordance with EML’s case management and operational models, in relation to claims in your portfolio in line with legislation.
Drive continuous improvement and innovation. Maintain awareness of industry developments and trends and respond effectively to changes.
ABOUT YOU
Demonstrated experience in a customer service environment dealing with a high volume of enquiries.
Effectively manage your time in order to achieve deadlines within required time frames.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
Ability to accurately use multiple software in a high volume and fast paced environment.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Ability to collaborate with others in order to achieve outcomes.
