Job Description -
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Feature Writer to join our team to cover the Future of Health. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of work experience covering cutting-edge technologies, science or healthcare and possess excellent feature writing skills. The candidate must have experience in writing on topics detailing the future of health, such as how artificial intelligence is transforming healthcare, wearables, CRISPR, gene editing, stem cell therapies, digital health systems, predictive models, etc. The ideal candidate must possess a bachelor's or higher degree in sciences, and the ability to write copies that are easy to understand for common people and build compelling narratives. The job will require connecting with global and Indian experts, people who have overcome common and uncommon health conditions, and others.
Key Responsibilities:
• Research and write in-depth feature articles on cutting-edge health technologies and their impact on the future of health.
• Conduct interviews with global and Indian experts, patients, and other stakeholders to gather information for the articles.
• Write copies that are easy to understand for the general readers while building compelling narratives.
• Keep abreast of emerging trends in the health and wellness industry and identify new topics for coverage.
• Ensure accuracy and credibility of all content by fact-checking and verifying sources.
• Collaborate with the editorial team to develop new and engaging content ideas.
• Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or higher degree in sciences.
• 5-7 years of experience in feature writing, preferably in the healthcare or science domain.
• Excellent research and writing skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear, concise and engaging manner.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong networking skills with the ability to connect with global and Indian experts, patients, and other stakeholders.
• Knowledge of digital publishing platforms and content management systems.
• Familiarity with SEO optimization and social media trends.
• Experience with multimedia content creation, such as podcasts and videos, is a plus.
