Now hiring for delivery drivers for PEAK PERIOD (Nov, Dec, Jan 2026) for assignments with an independent FedEx service provider in San Leandro. An opportunity to contribute your skills to one of the world's most recognized companies in delivering joy to people.
What you will do:
Arrive at the FedEx Terminal (Located at 1400 Business Center Dr, San Leandro, CA 94577) at 8 a.m. to pick up the vehicle and deliver/ pickup packages on your route.
Delivery packages can be time sensitive e.g. delivery by 10.30 a.m./ 12 p.m.
Scanning and Loading Packages.
Load, unload, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle safely. Deliver packages successfully to customers - both commercial and residential
Establishes and maintains outstanding relations with customers.
Physically able to handle packages up to 150 lbs.
What you need to succeed at FedEx Ground:
21 years of age or older
Must have Valid Drivers License-Class C
At least 1 year of verifiable job-related driving experience with delivery trucks
Authorized as a driver by FedEx including TSA certification
Clean driving record (No accidents, DUI's, cell phone tickets, reckless driving tickets etc.)
Clear criminal record (No misdemeanors, no felony)
Must pass DOT Physical and Drug test along with a background check (Paid by Employer!).
Must be Legal to work in the US
Conversational English skills
Have dependable transportation to and from the job location.
Schedule:
Flexible schedule: Full-time, Part-time positions
Choose number of days - 2-7 days a week, with weekend.
Benefits:
Pay: $225.00 - $250.00 per day based on experience for part time/ full time / weekend drivers + performance based service bonus
