FedEx delivery driver

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering goods to various locations while ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining the integrity of the products during transport. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and efficiency, as well as the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate various types of delivery vehicles.

Duties

Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks, while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.

Load and unload products using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.

Navigate assigned routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries.

Provide exceptional customer service during each delivery, addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients.

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including documentation of any damages or discrepancies.

Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.

Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organization.

Requirements

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.

Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.

Experience with warehouse operations and equipment handling is a plus.

Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as required by the job.

Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems is essential.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission is advantageous.

Pay: $21.00 - $21.01 per hour
