Job Description
As an Accounting Specialist at Classy Cut, you will be responsible for handling a variety of financial tasks, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions, and providing valuable insights to support informed decision-making.
Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
Process and reconcile invoices, receipts, and other financial documents promptly.
Prepare financial statements and reports, providing valuable insights into the company's financial health.
Collaborate with the finance team to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
Assist in preparing tax filings and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations.
Conduct periodic audits to verify the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Handle financial inquiries and liaise with internal stakeholders to address any financial concerns.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting or a related financial role.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
Sound knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and financial regulations.
Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
