About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Female Disability Support Worker to support a participant in Gillies Plains. This role involves community access, companionship, and daily living support.
Key Responsibilities
Support with community access (appointments, outings, activities)
Assist with light household tasks and meal preparation
Provide companionship and emotional support
Encourage independence and skill development
Follow care plans and behaviour support strategies
Maintain accurate progress notes and documentation
Requirements
Minimum 6–12 months experience in disability support or similar role
Understanding of NDIS and person-centred care
Valid:
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Working With Children Check (WWCC)
First Aid & CPR Certificate
Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, patient, and professional attitude
Preferred (but not essential)
Certificate III or IV in Disability / Individual Support
Experience with mental health or behavioural support
