Female Maths and English Instructor (Online)

Kumon Saravanampatty is looking for a female instructor preferably a BSC Maths candidate or a BE candidate with good command over English language to work with kids (3 years to 15 years). Kumon is an after school ability-enrichment program for kids where they are nurtured to self-learn Maths and English.

Note :

The Working hours will be evenings (as it is a after school program)

Monday to Sat evening sessions ( two online sessions and grading student work)

Sundays only marking.

2 weeks training in the centre preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

Proficient with English, to grasp the Kumon Level content.

Provide individualized instruction to each student based on their learning ability.

Guide Children to self-Learn from the content of courseware, refrain from explaining and teaching.

Create individualized study plan (Class work and homework assignments) for children based on the improvement area for the child

Communicate with students, parents & other staff members the goal and plan for every child so that all our working in sync for achieving the same goal for every child.

Assess, grade and maintain records

Coordinate weekly feedback to parents on the child's progress Share Level plans and goals for children with parents

Based on practical experience, innovate processes to bring in efficiency in regular work.

Competencies and Skills Required: * Mathematics expertise along with strong English communication skills is required.

Ability to 1st model to child, then do it together with the child, further wait with patience to allow the child to try

Keen observation skills to understand the thinking process of a child rather than form perception.

Innovative idea to guide the child to achieve greatest results in the shortest time.

Adapt to Kumon methodology quickly & willing to learn the course-ware.

Attention to detail while working with children and completing tasks.

Interview Rounds:

Written test in Maths/English (High school -8th std curriculum)

Personal Interview

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Fresher, Internship

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹4,000.00 - ₹6,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
