Location: Orchid International School, Baner, Pune
Timings: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM 2:00 PM

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Shadow Teacher to support a Grade 1 student at Orchid International School, Baner, Pune. The student requires additional guidance and personalized attention to help manage classroom behavior and stay engaged with academic activities.
The ideal candidate will be patient, proactive, and experienced in working with young children, especially those who may exhibit moody or inconsistent behavior. The Shadow Teacher will work one-on-one with the student during school hours to ensure he stays focused, follows instructions, and participates actively in classroom activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one support to the assigned student during school hours.
Help the student stay attentive, follow classroom routines, and complete tasks.
Encourage participation in classroom activities and maintain engagement during lessons.
Assist with academic work by simplifying instructions and reinforcing learning.
Monitor and manage behavior in a calm and constructive manner.
Communicate regularly with class teachers and parents about the students progress and needs.
Foster a positive, supportive, and structured learning environment for the student.
Requirements:
Minimum qualification: Graduate (preferably in Education or Psychology).
Prior experience as a shadow teacher or working with young children is highly preferred.
Patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and parents.
Fluency in English; ability to explain concepts simply and clearly.
Remuneration:
Compensation will be discussed during the interview and will be based on experience and qualifications.
