Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team.
The Support Worker will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals with various needs, including physical disabilities, mental health conditions, intellectual disabilities, or elderly individuals requiring assistance.
The ideal candidate will be empathetic, reliable, and committed to promoting the independence and well-being of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct care and support to clients by their individual care plans.
Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Support clients in household tasks including meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of care provided and any incidents or observations.
Requirements
Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, or a related field is preferred.
Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) and/or National Police Check (or ability to obtain).
Working Conditions
Salary: $60,000 to $70,000
Pay: $30.00 – $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 – 4 per week
Work Location: In person
