Job DescriptionA leading Private clinic based in Central London are looking to recruit a Fertility Nurse.You MUST have previous experience working as a Fertility Nurse to be considered. Ideal candidates will have experience in Scanning clinical duties. The role is paying very competitively dependant on experience. Based in central London, (Monday to Friday and 1 in 4 weekends)Duties and ResponsibilitiesClinicalPerforming experienced competent phlebotomy as per the medical request accordingly. Assist with data entry e.g., entering ultrasound measurementsPerform decontamination on trans-vaginal probes between scansUse aseptic techniques when assisting with invasive proceduresNurse consultations with patients, perform injection teaching sessions, give, and receive consent forms and update checklists on ideasPerform all screening and update checklist. Set up patients for treatment schedules. Book all appointments as per protocols. Advise patients on medication regimes and administrationTo answer queries and where possible reassure patients undergoing treatment or awaiting outcome of treatmentBe able to communicate clearly and concisely, displaying empathy and compassion in person and on the telephoneGive clear instructions on treatment and treatment plansHave a thorough understanding of in-house consent forms Demonstrate a good knowledge and understanding of the drug regimens and clinical protocols for each treatmentBe competent in basic life support and assist calmly in an emergency situationAdministering medication with patient consentAdvise patients with positive pregnancy tests ongoing care plan and protocol. Liaise with medical team regarding specialist testing or referralsNon-ClinicalCheck emergency equipment is functional and complete and ready to use in a case of an emergencyComplete medicine management daily quality management checksAssist with pharmacy quality management by doing stock takes and checking prescriptions against pharmacy sales for the nurse managerRequired experience and skillsPrevious fertility experiencePhlebotomy experienceAbility to cannulateExperience in monitoring patients after sedationExperience with scanning (highly desirable)Benefits Include - Company Events, Company Pension, Company incentives, staff discount and many more!This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading clinic with excellent career prospects and generous staff benefits.PLEASE APPLY NOW!
