Job Description
Experience: 3 to +years
Location: Pune, Bangalore, Chennai.
Must-Have’s
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science discipline required.
Strong understanding and experience of, and interest in, the financial markets, preferably knowledge of Capital market/Investment banking/Stock Market
Strong SQL & PL-SQL knowledge (e.g. Sybase, or Oracle)
Hands on Unix/Linux Commands and nice have Unix Scripting knowledge.
Knowledge/Experience of one any scripting language (e.g. Perl, TCL, Python) - good on programming logical skills.
Experience building new functionality in the Fidessa order management system
Strong knowledge of fidessa FTW application
Must be self-motivated, able to work independently
Must be highly responsive to time critical support issues
Ability to work in a high pressure, fast moving and challenging environment
Excellent Communication Skills, Both Verbal And Written, Are Essential
Comfortable liaising with people from all areas of the business (Developers, QA, Traders, external Vendors, etc.)
Nice-To-Have’s
Strong knowledge of fidessa server side application (TOP, NMS, IMAR, FIX+, FDA)
Experience building new functionality in another order management system (e.g. Belzberg, ITG, Brass)
Experience of FIX protocol
Experience Gathering And Documenting Business Requirements
