Responsibilities of Field Construction Worker:
Verizon relies on your expertise and unwavering commitment to excellence to uphold the optimal condition of its outdoor plant facilities.
• The duties involve modifying, relocating, and removing outdoor plant assets used in communication networks, covering aerial, underground, submarine, buried, block, and structure-based components.
• Merging wires and cables with connectors and attaching or detaching a variety of gear to wires, cables, structures, or stakes.
• Interpreting and comprehending engineering work directives.
• Undertaking construction tasks with the aid of prescribed equipment such as excavating cavities and fixing poles.
• Transporting equipment using a fleet of company vehicles with differing total weights.
• Ascending vertical structures and poles, working at elevated locations, distinguishing differences in wire and cable colors, and transporting/lifting objects generally weighing under 100 pounds.
• Being open to working on evenings, weekends, holidays, and unanticipated shifts as determined by business needs.
Qualification of Field Construction Worker:
