Responsibilities
Under minimal supervision, the Electronics Technician exhibits basic safety and repair procedures on company equipment, using a multimeter and precision tools, measuring equipment and basic operations to include but not limited to: performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting sensors, cables, controls and power distributions systems on NexTier equipment
Skills are typically acquired by completion of the competency requirements
Perform and complete all essential functions required of Level I Electronic Technicians
Able to Perform Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO)
Knowledge of Engine/Transmission Diagnostic Software
Perform Instrumentation PM with light supervision
Perform emergency repairs with light supervision
Repair and maintain 12 and 24 vdc systems with light supervision
Knowledge to troubleshoot complete power distribution systems
Possess general knowledge of cable building and able to repair damaged cable
Knowledge of procedures and calibration software /adapters and are able to replace and calibrate all sensors
Knowledge of troubleshooting of all sensors
Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic schematics
Knowledge of networks and equipment and are able to troubleshoot network and equipment problems

POSITION SUMMARY
Under minimal supervision, the Electronics Technician exhibits basic safety and repair procedures on company equipment, using a multimeter and precision tools, measuring equipment and basic operations to include but not limited to: performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting sensors, cables, controls and power distributions systems on NexTier equipment. Skills are typically acquired by completion of the competency requirements.
