We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in heavy equipment repair such as rollers, excavators, dozers, skidsteers, generators, front, backhoes, street sweepers, demonstrating proficiency in diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues. This role requires a hands-on approach to maintaining and repairing various types of machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.
Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including brake repair and electrical systems.
Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
Repair and maintain heavy equipment as needed.
Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot hydraulic systems.
Document all repairs and maintenance activities accurately.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
Adhere to safety protocols while working in the shop or field environments.
