Federal Field Marketing Manager

The Position

OPSWAT is seeking an experienced Federal Field Marketing Manager to drive and manage field marketing activities for the Federal Government sector. This role will play a crucial part in supporting our federal sales team and channel partners, ensuring alignment with federal marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong execution skills, able to collaborate across multiple teams.

This position reports to the VP of Global Marketing and Communications, with close alignment to the VP of Federal Sales. You will work closely with corporate marketing, demand generation, product marketing, federal government sales team, and channel partners to execute impactful marketing programs.

To be considered for this position you must live in the DC metro or surrounding area.

What You Will Be Doing

Field Marketing Execution & Strategy.
Plan, coordinate, and execute tradeshows, industry events, and channel partner engagements.
Secure and manage budgets for future events and marketing programs and manage ROI.
Federal sales & channel partner support.
Develop federal-focused content for website, social media and other external promotional channels – including newsletters, email cadences and campaigns.
Assist the Federal sales team with implementing federal-focused marketing initiatives, including webinars, collaborative engagements, and targeted marketing campaigns.
Support and manage quarterly/monthly government partner webinars.
Plan and execute government partner summits, training, and onboarding programs.
Work with sales team on partner recruitment and engagement strategies.
Oversee MDF (Market Development Funds) and joint marketing programs, ensuring effective utilization.
Develop co-branded sales tools and campaign kits for federal partners.
Review and refine marketing plans, ensuring alignment with federal objectives and sales strategies.
Track, measure, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and campaign outcomes.
What We Need From You

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of Federal B2B tech marketing experience with a focus on channel marketing and operations in cybersecurity, enterprise, and public sector.
Deep understanding of the federal sales cycle and government procurement processes.
Experience working with CRM systems (HubSpot and Salesforce preferred).
Hands-on experience in webinar management, event planning, and in-person workshops.
Proven expertise in email marketing and social media campaigns.
Strong background in partner marketing, MDF program management, and campaign execution.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and goal-oriented, with a track record of exceeding expectations.
Ability to analyze marketing performance data and optimize programs for better results.
Must reside in the Washington, D.C. or surrounding area.
Willingness to travel throughout the Americas for field marketing and channel events as necessary.
Strong communication skills (speaking, writing, and presenting).
Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
