Job Summary
The Field Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales through direct engagement with customers and partners in the designated territory. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively communicate the benefits of home automation solutions, build strong relationships, and close sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospecting: Identify potential customers through field visits, networking, referrals, and cold calling.
- Client Engagement: Meet with clients to understand their needs and demonstrate how our home automation products can meet those needs.
- Sales Presentations: Conduct on-site product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers, highlighting features and benefits.
- Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the Sales Manager.
- Market Intelligence: Gather and report information on market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies in the assigned territory.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and close sales agreements with clients.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status in the CRM system.
- Customer Support: Provide post-sale support to ensure customer satisfaction and assist with any issues or questions that arise.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of field sales experience in the home automation, smart home, or related technology industries.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with home automation products and technologies is required.
- Sales Skills: Strong ability to close sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and sell products effectively.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
- Self-Motivated: Highly self-motivated and able to work independently in the field.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to understand customer needs and propose effective solutions.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally.
