Field Service & Application Engineer
Qualifications
BSc Degree in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Computer Engineering
1-2 years of experience as support engineer/service engineer/application engineer/ Process Engineer/Device Engineer in the semiconductor industry on multidisciplinary machines
Working with various company interfaces – R&D, Manufacturing, Physics
Up to 25% travel may be required throughout the USA and WW – Must have the ability to travel internationally
Responsibilities
Serve as first line of application, service support and installations of Inspection and metrology systems
Works independently to maintain regular communications with customers and provide prompt problem resolution to ensure total customer satisfaction
Perform application support and development, installation, training, and hardware/software maintenance of inspection and metrology system
Actively look for solutions to prevent problems from occurring at customer sites
Provide technical service, applications, and hardware, support directly to customers in the field
Ability to learn and service troubleshooting electrical/electronic/applications and overall equipment problems
Service customers under production timeline and meet customer expectations for troubleshooting, installations, service, upgrades, and perform maintenance as needed
Ability to manage projects and provide team leadership for both onsite and remote members
Concise and detailed reporting between Customer and R&D, as well as between superiors and peers
Support sales with pre-sale applications/demonstrations with the support of local engineers, close acceptance criteria, and validate tools prior to shipment
Follow-up on open items and special applications/parts to ensure ongoing customer service

What You'll Do
