As a member of the service team, you will be responsible for performing all activities required to provide technical support to internal and external customers. This includes but is not limited to setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, optimization, and repair of injection molding systems. You will work with the call center, spare parts department, and directly with customers to diagnose issues.
Responsibilities:
• Approximately +0% day-trip, local travel within the assigned region
(Monday – Friday). Some weekend work will be required.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with equipment, order
replacement parts, complete repairs, and replace components on
machines and/or robots.
• Work with new and evolving technologies.
• Conduct testing and inspection on equipment as required.
• Complete work orders and written reports regularly.
• Interface effectively across manufacturing, engineering, sales, and
service functions.
• Obtain and exchange complex technical information with good
interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Utilize computer skills and knowledge of Windows-based applications.
• Demonstrate strong problem resolution skills with a proven ability to
think outside the box.
• Maintain a positive attitude and work ethic.
• Show energy and a strong electrical background, with mechanical
inclinations.
• Organize work efficiently and interact effectively and professionally with
customers.
• Must possess Valid Passport at time of start.
• Perform other special projects as required or as assigned by a
Manager/Supervisor.
Qualifications
• Minimum 2-year Technical Associates degree/diploma.
• Experience with injection molding equipment, including assembly,
testing, service, and engineering.
• Familiarity with related equipment and products, including machines,
molds, robots, and other product handling equipment, is an asset.
• Knowledge of blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a dedication to
customer service.
