Job Title: Field Service Technician
About the Role:
The Field Service Technician will work collaboratively with the Infrastructure Team to ensure equipment used to deliver health services is serviced, maintained, and repaired to a high standard across the Southland region on a 6 month fixed term contract.
This role will support our frontline Ambulance Service, Patient Transfer and Event Health services across New Zealand.
Candidates must have the ability to complete travel and meet the on-call requirements around their district.
A demonstrated knowledge of equipment servicing or other technical skills would be advantageous however full training will be provided.
Key Outcomes:
Ensure equipment is serviced following the preventative maintenance programme
Identify surplus or broken assets from stations for repair, reallocation, or destruction
Ensure equipment is tagged and tested, so it complies with electrical safety standards
Ensure equipment is recorded in the asset tracking and service history databases
Act as a professional point of contact by efficiently responding to inquiries or complaints
