Field Services Engineer

Job Title: Field Service Engineer Job Summary: This role is based in India, the Field Service Engineer will be responsible for commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of field instrumentation products Job Responsibilities: • Providing technical support for customers’ equipment/components/pumps to ensure to meet the required specifications and performance, including visiting the customer site for troubleshooting, liaison with the customer and proposing solutions to the customer • Supporting Factory Acceptance test (FAT) and Site Acceptance test (SAT) • Completing service documentation is completed in proper format and by due dates- this includes items such as timesheets, service/repair reports, follow-ups, daily logs, expenses, etc. • Ensuring proper storage of engineering documentation- drawings, version history, scope documents, RFI's Job Requirement: • Working in teams relative to trouble-shooting, debugging and integration responsibilities • Good knowledge of ULVAC machine operation and machine construction • Experience in handling with high vacuum equipment, wet/dry pumps, chillers, and compressors • Ability to interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams • Troubleshoot with Mitsubishi PLC system and GXwork software • Submit timely documents of service activities and expenses Preferred Experiences: • Min. 3 years of field service experience dealing with high vacuum equipment and components • Min. 2 years of PLC hands-on experience on machines • Min. 2 years of tool installation and commissioning experience. Preferred Qualifications: • Degree in Electronics or Mechatronic Engineering or relevant subjects • Chinese language ability is advantage
