Job Description
We are seeking a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician/Mechanic to join our team in providing technical support and executing complex repairs to generators and components at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
Completing repair activities on generators or components
Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner
Performing maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
Maintaining detailed records of service
Adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies
Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing products
Maintaining personal tools
Requirements
Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities
High Voltage/Low Voltage experience
Advanced experience with electrical repair and maintenance
Proficient Diesel Engine experience
Advanced troubleshooting and repairs of generators, transfer switches, and auxiliary components
Understanding switchgear schematics
Ability to train entry/intermediate technicians/mechanics
Qualifications
DOT Certification
Valid driver's license and 5-year motor vehicle report
Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination
3 years driving experience
Age 21 or older
Licenses and Certifications
07 Electrical License
Seattle Confidence Test License
Preferred Qualifications
5 years minimum advanced diagnostics, generator commissioning, and service experience
