We are currently seeking skilled and qualified Field Technicians with expertise in auto-electrics to join our team. As a Field Technician - Auto-Electrician, you will play a crucial role in installing third-party electronics in vehicles of all sizes, including small passenger vehicles, large trucks, and plant machinery. Your deep understanding of auto-electrical systems will ensure accurate and efficient installations to meet customer requirements.
Tasks
Perform installations of third-party electronics in various vehicles, including small passenger vehicles, large trucks, and plant machinery.
Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of vehicles' existing electrical systems to determine compatibility and identify any modifications required for successful installations.
Apply your expertise in auto-electrical systems to handle wiring, circuitry, connectors, and associated components during installations.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, vehicle manufacturer guidelines, and safety regulations throughout the installation process.
Collaborate with customers to understand their specific requirements and provide expert advice on suitable third-party electronics for their vehicles.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or complications that may arise during the installation process, ensuring all systems are functioning properly.
Provide comprehensive training and support to customers on the usage, maintenance, and troubleshooting of installed electronics.
Keep accurate records of installations, including technical specifications, diagrams, and any modifications made to the vehicle's electrical system.
Stay updated on the latest advancements and trends in auto-electrics, attending training sessions and workshops as required to enhance knowledge and skills.
Collaborate with the sales and customer support teams to provide technical assistance, pre-installation consultations, and after-sales support to customers.
Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and building long-term relationships.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols, documentation requirements, and reporting standards.
