Hybrid Working
We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. We’re flexible on how this works and it may continue to change and evolve. Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month or a quarter. However, some colleagues may choose to spend more time in the office over a typical period than their role type requires. We also have a flexible working process where, subject to business needs, all colleagues globally are able to request work patterns to reflect their personal circumstances These requests will be reviewed and agreed for a period of time i.e., will have a start and end date.

Introduction
To develop, enhance and support Repo Market Data, Trade Execution, Trade Capture and other Front Office applications.
What will you be doing?
• Work independently and/or with a group of developers to develop, enhance and support Repo Market Data, Trade Execution, Trade Capture and other Front Office applications.
• Interact with traders, sales and operations on several requirements/projects.
• Translate the business needs to technical requirements
• Write clean, robust and secure code following a test-driven approach.
• Interact with business stakeholders for business requirements.
• Take ownership of the deliverables of each iteration ensuring that the scope of the project/deliverables is understood.
• Interact with the testing team to ensure adequate tests are in place for deliverables under development.
• Perform code reviews to ensure implemented functionality matches expectations and is in line with coding standards defined globally
What We’re Looking For
Hands on Java developer, Must have strong skills in Object Oriented Analysis and Design Concepts, Java, Relational Databases
• Must Have Tech skills: Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Unix, Solace, REST micro services, Database, Basic knowledge about Angular(or any other Java Script based language) , Pub –Sub model
• Must Have some exposure to some DevOps tools like Team City, Jenkins and understanding about CI-CD setup
• Additional Preferred Exposure : Kibana, Chef , Elastic Search
• Significant experience developing high-performance software. Ability to coordinate activities of less experienced or less knowledgeable team members.
• Ability to understand & implement high-level technical design of design components. Analytical ability including root cause identification and pro-active design improvement
• Support production deployments on need basis
Skills That Will Help You In The Role
Skill in Test Driven Development, Continuous Delivery and System integration.
• Good to have knowledge on Angular, Kafka, Python, ELK, Chef
• Nice to Have: Experience in JQuery, Python, JavaScript
• Background in financial markets
