Job Summary:

The Field Officer will be responsible for overseeing field operations, collecting data, and ensuring the successful implementation of projects and programs in the assigned area. This role requires frequent travel, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Implementation: Oversee and support the implementation of projects in the field, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Data Collection and Analysis: Collect, analyze, and report on data related to field activities, including surveys, assessments, and project monitoring.
Community Engagement: Engage with local communities, stakeholders, and beneficiaries to facilitate project activities and gather feedback.
Training and Capacity Building: Conduct training sessions and workshops for local staff, volunteers, and community members.
Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on field activities, progress, challenges, and recommendations.
Compliance: Ensure all field activities comply with organizational policies, donor requirements, and local regulations.
Problem-Solving: Identify and address challenges and issues that arise in the field to ensure smooth project implementation.
Logistics Management: Coordinate logistics for field activities, including transportation, accommodation, and materials.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Sciences, Agriculture, Public Health, Development Studies).
Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in fieldwork, project management, or a related area.
Skills:
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in data collection and analysis tools.
Ability to work independently and in remote areas.
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Languages: Fluency in [Specify Language(s)] is required.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the Sector: Previous experience in the specific sector (e.g., healthcare, agriculture) is highly desirable.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of GIS, data analysis software, or other technical tools relevant to the field.

Working Conditions:

Travel: Frequent travel to remote areas.
