Basic Job Duties :
• The Filemaker Developer works with the Dev team to create solid software with great user experiences.
• This role is best suited for a creative and positive developer who can take requirements and turn them into responsive, high-performing solution. The ideal person for this role must work well within a team, have excellent communication skills, positive attitude and be agile in a demanding environment.
FileMaker Dev Role Profile
• Experience in FileMaker application development
• Experience in Web development and tools (PHP, CSS, JavaScript, GIT)
• Experience deploying, securing, and supporting AWS infrastructure (Desirable)
• Knowledge and experience in application/web-based and IT Network security (Desirable)
• The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team is essential
• The ability to show initiative, solve problems and find solutions
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills
• A willingness to actively participate in business growth
• Adaptable to business changes
Required Duties
• Collaborate on database design, including architecture, normalization, and management.
• Create Layouts, scripts, field definitions, calculations, tables, relationships, and reporting
• Maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot existing Filemaker solutions.
• Communicate issues clearly while working toward a deadline.
• Work independently or with a group of developers.
• Training and walkthrough of solutions with PM or support staff
Desired Skills
• Advanced data relationship skill and knowledge.
• API integration experience
• Attention to detail and good organization skills
• An understanding of UI and UX Credentials
• 4 years of professional Filemaker development experience
• FileMaker Advanced Version 13 and Server 13
• FM Go and WebDirect is a plus but not required
• FM certification is a plus, but not required
• Ruby, MySql, Php, XML, Java, HTML experience is a plus but not required.
