Job Title: Volunteer Editor (Avid Media Composer) – Experimental Dystopian Short Film

Overview
We are seeking an Editor for an experimental, dystopian short film set in a post-war world. The project is non-profit and created for international festival screenings. This is a great opportunity to gain festival-level film credits and collaborate with a passionate creative team.
Responsibilities
Edit and assemble footage using Avid Media Composer
Shape narrative pacing and structure with the director
Organize media and deliver Avid-formatted outputs
Meet deadlines within a 6–8 week post schedule
Requirements
Minimum 1 year experience with Avid Media Composer
Film editing experience preferred
Must be able to work on Avid using your own computer/workstation
Strong storytelling and organizational skills
