• *Role Description**

The Business Finance function is responsible for the production of business level revenue attribution, financial accounting and financial disclosures. It ensures, on a daily basis, the accurate and timely reporting of Profit and Loss (PnL) for each business unit and ensures that the drivers behind the risk positions and PnL are fully understood and explained. It also ensures that all of the Bank’s transactions and positions are correctly reflected in the Bank’s accounting records and disclosures, in accordance with relevant accounting standards.

The position entails supporting the IB Finance Manager to ensure that IB Central Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet are accurate, validated and providing additional financial analysis and advice as required.

• *Your key responsibilities**

- Daily P&L validation and commentary for IB Central.

- To perform Dart vs BCS Global Gross Revenue reconciliation.

- To perform various Regulatory reports on Monthly / Quarterly Basis.

- Monthly calculation and posting of specific funding charges

- Monthly reconciliation of the General ledger and allocation of charges to businesses

- Monthly posting of central funding charges

- Balance sheet substantiation and commentary

- Quarterly group reporting packs and commentary as required

- Quarterly submission of Disclosures like IFR+,12, FAS157 and other regulatory reporting’s

• *Your skills and experience**

- Professional Finance Qualification - CFA, MBA

- Analytical and process driven with structured work ethic

- Knowledge of IFRS accounting

- Competent use of MS-Office - specifically Excel, Access and PowerPoint

- Exposure to SAP general ledger and Dart would be advantageous

- Accuracy-driven with excellent attention to detail

- Excellent communication and inter personal skills

- A team player with a proactive, innovative mindset and a professional attitude ready to take on further tasks

- Ability to interact with people from different business/disciplines and locations
