Job Title: Finacle Developer (AVP)

Location: Mumbai/Pune, India

Role Description - Summary:

Deutsche Bank is actively renewing its digital channels and has started many strategic and challenging projects. Next to some major technological changes Deutsche Bank has decided to step into the Agile methodology in order to improve its agility and reduce time to market without scarifying quality

As a Finacle development team you will be responsible for overall customisation and enhancements being done in Finacle Core Banking application for the Retail bank including projects and regulatory/mandatory projects. The development team will co-ordinate with different stake holders internal or external to Bank and ensure project deliveries by different teams or stake holders are completed within time frame.

Your Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities / Tasks:
• Core tech development resources will be responsible for the back-end development and integrations into the core banking system
• Specific experience and expertise in developing solutions within Finacle's digital banking suits (FEBA 11X), including most recent upgraded features over E-banking and M-banking (iOS and Android app)
• Specific experience and expertise in development and customizations pertaining to integration with Finacle Core (10X) over ISO8583 route (Connect24) and API route (Finacle Integrator), point-to-point or through an ESB
• Experience of working with industry leading middleware in order to develop and expose APIs to be consumed by external applications
• Understanding of payment systems including NEFT/RTGS, UPI, IMPS, AEPS and payment gateways like Billdesk and BBPS
• High quality coding standards
• Design, discuss, develop and unit test your own solution for addressing user stories and tasks
• Integrate, deploy, maintain and improve software
• Actively participate and Dev chapter lead activities
• Apply continuous integration best practices in general (SCM, build automation, unit testing, dependency management)
• Manage individual task priorities and deliverables
• Responsible for quality of solutions provided and contribute to planning and continuous improvement activities
• Actively participate into the squad activities and ceremonies e.g. daily stand-up/scrum meeting

• Collaborate with other squad members to achieve the Squad/Sprint objectives
• Report progress/update Agile team management tools (JIRA/Confluence)
• Manage individual task priorities and deliverables
• Responsible for quality of solutions the he/she provides
• Contribute to planning and continuous improvement activities,
• Support the PO, Analyst and Scrum Master

Your Skills And Experience
• Knowledge and experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, Acceptance Test Driven Development, Behavior Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pair working, Automated Testing, Agile Games.
• IT certifications in various technical skill
• 7-+ years of Retail Banking Technology experience
• Domain knowledge in the Banking and Payment systems
• 5-7 years of experience in development in Internet banking application
• Thorough Functional and Technical knowledge of Finacle E-banking application
• Should have a strong technical foundation which includes knowledge about Oracle, jsp/js
• High level of analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
• Effective communication, influencing and negotiation skills that include the provision of timely and accurate information to stakeholders
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Experience with Agile/SCRUM environment.
• Experience with distributed/multi-locations teams
• Familar with Agile Team management tools (JIRA, Confluence)
• Understand and promote Agile values: FROCC (Focus, Respect, Openess, Commitment, Courage)
• Good communication skills
• Pro-active teamplayer
• Comfortable working in multi-disciplinary, self-organised teams
• Professional knowledge of English
• Differentiators: knowledge/experience about
• PL/SQL , Oracle
• Java programing
• XML, XSD and XSLT transformation and design, XML parsers
• Relational databases: Oracle 11g or 12C.
• Development tools: Eclipse
• CICD tools : TeamCity, Jenkins, Git, Sonar, Maven, Gradle
• Any scripting language
• DevOps tools: Jira, Confluence
