We have brands and clients in the areas of Cricket, Football, Motorsports, eSports, Sailing and Horse Racing Job Description: Looking for an experienced finance executive who will analyze every day financial activities and subsequently provide advice and guidance to upper management on future financial plans. Joining the Engage Digital Partners’ Finance & Accounts Department, the candidate will have the following responsibilities: • Manage the daily operations of the accounting department - this includes but not limited to raising and sending out client invoices, processing purchase orders, posting supplier invoices and maintaining the accounts receivable and payable reports up to date. • Working closely with the Global finance & accounts team to provide support where needed. • Working closely with the UK Management Accountant and the UK Finance Manager to provide support on any other ad hoc tasks, this will include running reports, updating monthly reconciliations and manually updating client and departamental P&Ls. • Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles • Managing P&L of projects and reporting on monthly basis • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance as per company policies and statutory requirements of the government. • Interpreting financial information to managerial staff, especially while recommending changes / further courses of action. • Liaise with external accounts agency and auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained. • Correspond with various other departments for accounting and financial reporting Key Skills and knowledge: • Min 3 years of proven experience as a finance and accounts executive / manager, preferably in media agency • Hands-on experience with accounting software like Xero and Tally • Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables etc • Extensive understanding of financial and accounting laws, rules, regulations, trends of India. Global knowledge is a plus • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills • Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being followed. • Professional qualification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus • Ability to multitask and prioritize work based on deadlines • Ability to work in dynamic and challenging on ground environments. • Open to working on Weekends / Flexible hours based on global requirements.
