FINANCE ANALYST - REPORTING
We are currently seeking applicants for Finance Analyst - Reporting position to join our Pune office. Qualified candidates will possess the skills detailed below and relevant work experience. This position requires strong work experience and the ability to work independently in each of the following functions:
Responsibilities:
• Good management reporting and financial analysis background having 2-4 years of prior work experience.
• Experienced in Microsoft Office (including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word & Access).
• Experience of working with financial data and knowledge of financial reporting tools like SAP-HANA, Business Objects.
• Assists business partners (PAM & C) to update and review specs and serves as liaison between IT department and business partners as and when required.
• Complete impact assessments for change requests and work requests on reporting environment. Ensuring a sense check of numbers going out from the team.
• Provides final review of report specification and report to ensure completeness.
• Maintains report specifications and reviews report specs to ensure accuracy and compliance to reporting policy.
• Reviews report usage to validate if activity warrants continued maintenance of existing reports.
• Interest in business and economic environment.
• Exposure to COE/shared service environment/organization would be essential.
Qualifications:
• Technical skills include, experience with report writing and development, business objects, SQL, MS office, Excel PowerPoint Access
• In Depth knowledge of financial reporting required.
• Effective communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail is an essential part of the job.
• Adaptability, multitasking and project management skills.
• Demonstrate an ability to learn and desire to develop and improve by challenging status quo.
• Interpersonal skills (ability to work with colleagues at all levels across multiple locations).
• Time management & organizational skills.
• Good teamwork skills.
• Flexibility – able to react quickly to changing priorities and timelines.
