Finance Assistant
We are looking for a diligent and organised Finance Assistant to support our finance team with a range of accounting and administrative tasks. This role involves handling both accounts payable and receivable duties, assisting with month-end processes, and maintaining accurate financial records to support business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Process invoices for accounts payable and employee expenses accurately and promptly
Manage purchase order requests.
Prepare weekly payment runs for purchase ledger accounts, with submission internal banking systems.
Prepare sales statistics reports in collaboration with other departments to support business analysis
Maintain and update the fixed asset register and post related journal entries
Perform daily bank and credit card account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of cash balances
Reconciliation of intercompany account ledgers
Knowledge of selling to EU.
Assist with month-end reporting activities, including journal postings and account reconciliations
Support VAT preparation and other statutory reporting as required
Maintain accurate financial filing and documentation
Provide general administrative support to other members of the finance team and undertake other ad-hoc duties as needed.
