Finance Associate
About this role
The Finance Transformation team leverages the Scrum/Agile framework to build a highly talented, scalable, and sustainable function for advanced business intelligence tools to modernize and strengthen automation, data governance and self-service while implementing more effective controls.
Wells Fargo is seeking a Finance Associate to perform highly visible work focused on data integrity, data aggregation, analysis, and insight in support of decisioning and monitoring of business initiatives, strategies, and practices. The goal will be to provide easily accessible and high-quality information to stakeholders with greater business insight to enhance value creation from decision outcomes.
In this role, you will:
• Work in agile teams using scrum methodologies for product development that facilitates Finance internal reporting & analytics.
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, product owners, stakeholders, and leadership to serve customer needs by achieving product vision.
• Use data visualization tools and techniques to produce reports and dashboards that enables analysis and insights gathering to support decision making.
• Use data analytics and data modeling techniques by interacting with SQL platforms, Oracle based platforms and automation of data sourcing processes.
Required Qualifications:
3-4 years of experience in using data visualization tools, performed data analytics & modelling in financial services industry or equivalent demonstrated through one or more of the following - work experience, training, and education.
Desired Qualifications:
• Experience in using data visualization tools like Tableau/PowerBI with expertise in building complex interactive/dynamic dashboards.
• Experience in using data visualization techniques, data analytics, data modelling and usage of database systems.
• Experience writing Structured Query Language (SQL) using various SQL-development software packages.
• Experience in MS SQL Server, MSBI (SSAS Tabular, SSIS, SSRS)
• Experience in working as part of highly agile transformation/change management teams.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
