Job Description
I. Introduction
The finance Content Writer will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing the Company's content strategy. She will also be responsible for creating and producing online and offline marketing content, including strengthening SEO. She should have experience building high-quality content in the form of articles, blogs, notifications, thought leadership content, e-books, etc.
II. Responsibilities
· Organize writing schedules to complete drafts of content within deadlines
· Write articles and blogs on finance, the stock market, insurance, mutual funds, etc., and deliver on time
· Collaborate with peers in Brand, Marketing & Communication; Product and Customer Service to develop a variety of content marketing material
· Write research-intensive and factually correct content for our users
· Do keyword research and incorporate such keywords into blogs/ other posts to enhance SEO and reach more audiences organically
· Develop or write finance-related content for multiple platforms, vetting and editing content received from other departments
· Propose concepts and present underlying strategic thinking to business leaders
· Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics, generate ideas for new content types and proofread articles before publication
· Enrich our website with new blog posts, information and marketing copy
· Give ideas to build and execute new financial content properties
· Perform Competitors Content Analysis to make sure we do not miss any opportunities
III. Profile Requisites
· Post Graduate or MBA in Finance, CFA/ CA would be an added advantage
· Passionate about Finance and have good knowledge of stocks and crypto
· Minimum 3years of relevant work experience
· Knowledge about SEO and spotting trends
· Excellent writing and editing skills in English language
· Skilled at social media writing, including the use of hashtags, emoji’s and acronyms
· Must have a portfolio of published articles
· Must have a positive attitude and be self-motivated and self-disciplined
