We have Urgent Opening for Finance Controller
Corporate Accounting including Fixed Asset accounting
TDS & GST
Direct Tax
Preferable to have knowledge of Oracle
Below are the areas including activity at high level, though we have tried to cover most of the things they will be required to work on any other requirement which might come up:
1. Quarter Close
Review of quarterly cost and accrual for the same
Ensure all the Revenues for the quarter are accrued/accounted
Providing schedule/reports as part of quarterly deliverables
2. Intercompany Accounting. To begin with this entity will serve as a captive unit and following activities will have to be performed.
Billing
Accounting
Collection
Reconciliation of intercompany accounts and ensuring there are no open items
3. Fixed Asset Accounting.
Ensuring all the approvals/documents supporting capex are available
Accounting of Capex
Facilitate determining life and head of asset
4. Other accounting and related work
Preparation of Bank Reconciliation on a monthly basis
Managing US GAAP vs India GAAP books (differences in Capex accounting , Prepaid expenses , Lease Accounting and others).
Balance sheet reconciliation including ART sign off
5. Taxes
TDS Payment – Review of TDS deducted during the month/quarter
Preparation of TDS return and filing
Performing GST Input reconciliation and follow up with the vendors for resolving reconciling items
Preparation of GST return
Assist in preparation of YTD PL for advance tax calculation purposes
Tax Collection at Source (TCS) -Payment, reconciliation and filing of return
6. Statutory Audit
Assist in preparation of various schedules required for Statutory and Tax audit
Resolve auditors queries
Assist in preparation of financial statements
Assist in preparation of Tax audit form
Preparation of TDS and GST reconciliation
Facilitate Transfer Pricing documentation and report for Tax team
7. Compliances
Medium Small Micro Enterprises (MSME)- Half Yearly return, tracking of payments as any delay results in payment of interest to MSME registered vendors
Providing list of legal entities with whom entity has conducted business which are struck off by Registrar of Companies
Certificate on unhedged payables and receivables
Physical Verification of PPE
Filing of annual return on Deposit
Arranging Net-worth certificates if required
