About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our dynamic finance team.
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for performing multiple bank reconciliations, including foreign currency banks and PayPal, as well as inputting data of supplier purchase invoices from overheads to Stock invoices on matching to GRNs/Purchase Orders.
Compliance and improving the payment run will also be a key part of your responsibilities, along with dealing with purchase ledger queries and helping manage shared Accounts email inbox.
You will assist with the reconciliation of the debtors ledger and be competent in Supplier Statements via excel and PDF.
Additionally, you will review credit card statements and employees' expenses requests, and perform any other ad-hoc tasks to support the Finance team.
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience working in an accounts environment.
Sound knowledge of purchase ledger processes.
Able to handle large volumes of data.
Moderate computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Team-player with good verbal and written communication skills.
High levels of data accuracy and attention to detail.
Have a positive, 'can-do' attitude and a desire to learn new tasks.
Salary & Benefits
Competitive salary: £25,000 per annum.
