About the Role
For the Director of Finance role, we are looking for a senior professional who must be able to build finance frameworks whilst being flexible to adapt to new technologies, systems and gaming. To succeed in the position, the candidate must have an owner mentality and desire to learn and immerse with Web3.
Reporting to the COO, this professional works very closely with other areas of the company, including Partnerships, Marketing and Gaming. This position has direct oversight for People operations as well.
Responsibilities
Develop, manage and own financial processes, including budgets, forecasts, comparisons in order to make sure financial planning and actual results are in line
Preparation of reports, detailing the monthly financial transactions, including summaries and analyses to internal and external stakeholders
Proactive approach to company health by review and interpretation of market and economic trends
Create cash flow projection process and reporting structure that includes minimum cash threshold to meet operational needs
Partner with senior executives to ensure company targets
Manage the company’s compliance with regulatory parties, whenever applicable
to ensure company meets revenue targets
Improve the efficiency related to billing, reporting, revenue recognition, payments, receivable, and all other accounting related objectives
Oversee People Operations, including pay cycle and talent acquisition processes
Ownership of tokenomics and DeFi internal controls
Requerimentos:
Requirements
Finance degree plus minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience
Strong knowledge of Brazilian and International GAAP, taxation, and regulatory compliance
Knowledge of web3, crypto and blockchain gaming
Excellent communication skills including language fluency in both Portuguese and English
Ability to work independently with limited supervision and travel internationally on occasion
Located in Sao Paulo
