Role Overview:
Reporting to the Finance Divestiture Workstream Leader, the Finance Divestiture Project Manager plays a critical role within the Finance Divestiture Workstream, reporting directly to the Workstream Leader. This individual is responsible for supporting the stand up and execution of Transaction Service Agreements (TSAs), as well as the creation and delivery of comprehensive finance separation plans to ensure a smooth, compliant, and value-driven divestiture process.
Key Responsibilities & deliverables:
Transaction Service Agreements (TSAs):
Support the Workstream Leader in standing up and executing the TSAs relevant to Finance functions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and compliance standard.
Finance Separation Planning:
Assist in the development, documentation, and execution of detailed finance separation plans, including people, process, systems, and data migration.
Work with stakeholders to identify and manage financial risks, controls, and compliance considerations throughout the separation lifecycle.
Monitor delivery milestones, track progress against key performance indicators (KPIs), and proactively resolve roadblocks to meet separation timelines.
Project Management and Reporting:
Support workstream governance, including preparation of status reports, management updates, and project documentation.
Organise and facilitate meetings, workshops, and working sessions with internal and external stakeholders to drive project progress.
Maintain accurate project plans, risk registers, and action logs for all finance-related divestiture activities.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Act as a key liaison between the Finance team, Workstream Leader, and broader project stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely communication.
Support change management efforts by providing appropriate documentation, training, and communication materials for Finance teams impacted by the divestiture.
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in finance, project management, or business transformation roles, ideally within a M&A, carve-out, or divestiture context.
Strong understanding of Transaction Service Agreements (TSAs), separation planning, and post-transaction transitional processes.
Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities, with experience working cross-functionally and with senior leaders.
Strong proficiency with project management tools and methodologies.
Ability to work independently, prioritise a varied workload, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
