Collaborating with wider RFT CTO team to identify and drive opportunities for architecture alignment and reuse between regional and group functions. Engage with customer-facing divisions, operational teams, support and regulatory functions to ensure alignment with strategic architecture. Contribute to standards, policies, best architectural practise and the process to govern against these standards. Manage the Application and Service Capability Portfolio and maintain related repositories. Review conceptual designs and architectural blueprints for quality assurance and consistency. Lead the design and development of the domain-level roadmaps. Ensure the quality and consistency of architecture artefacts across the embedded architecture domains (e.g. system flows, data flows, conceptual designs, and application/information models). Collaborate with the technology teams to establish the target state architecture and related delivery for programmes. Perform specific analysis/design efforts as needed and construct responses for consumption at all stakeholder levels. Your skills and experience Practical experience of working on large scale data centric platforms Experience in conceptual, functional and solution architecture definition. Well-developed business and requirements analysis skills, including good communication abilities (both speaking and listening) and stakeholder management (all levels up to Managing Director). Relevant Financial Services experience, with good knowledge of at least one domain from Risk, Finance & Treasury. Ability to work in a fast paced environment with competing and alternating priorities with a constant focus on delivery and in large and globally distributed teams Proven ability to balance business demands and IT fulfilment in terms of standardisation, reducing risk and increasing IT flexibility. Background in an architectural or senior analyst role in business, operations & change management, able to perform at a lead level and influence strategic decision-makers and functional stakeholders. Business or IT Architecture experience specifically designing and implementing an integrated platform from a functional or technical perspective. Financial Accounting and/or Financial and regulatory reporting architecture. Experience of developing and managing governance processes.
