The Job:

As an Finance Executive - Credit and Collections you’ll be part of our India OTC team working as an on-site employee. You’ll get to:
• AR & Collection Management.
• Customer Account AR Dispute Resolution.
• Improve the receivable days & past-due reduction.
• Work closely works with internal and external customers.

The Person:
• To ensure timely payments, send pre-due and past-due dunning/follow-up emails to customers before and after the due date.
• Follow up with customers through phone calls if their account is overdue.
• Contact customers for payment advice to clear unapplied credit clearing from books.
• Organize Accounts Receivable review calls with Branch and Regional Managers and provide collection plans to Head Office at the beginning of each month.
• Prepare and circulate weekly and monthly management information system (MIS) reports to the Sales team, which include Collection vs Actuals and Top overdue accounts. Liaise with customers, sales, and Regional/HO finance, as well as the accounting team for various customer accounts related issues.
• Support the region's BU Collection target is achieved and quarterly overdue, Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) target is met.
• Manage advance customer proforma invoices and collections.
• Clear all unapplied credits to open invoices and communicate with customers.
• Track invoice level unauthorized deductions (by customers) and solve various disputed issues within the month.
• Track and communicate various credit/debit notes to customers.
• Possess good knowledge of the Customer Account reconciliation process to resolve disputes and deductions.
• Visit customers for periodic accounts reconciliation, dispute resolution, and balance confirmation sign-off.
• Provide monthly performance update reports to Region/HO as per the format.
• Facilitate and take ownership to drive various projects that will result in an improved customer experience and/or gains in process performance and efficiencies.
• Manage special projects and analysis as required to meet the responsibilities/objectives and other assignments in support of the Customer Service initiatives.
• Oversee coordination of internal and external audit processes related to Accounts Receivable for the respective region and provide documentary evidence of audit compliance during regular internal and external audit cycles.
• Initiate legal action against defaulters and delinquent customers.
