We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our team!
Melbourne, Full time permanent
Salary Range $80,000 to $120000 per annum
No of positions - 2

Finance Manager
As a finance manager, you would be responsible for planning, organizing, directing controlling and coordinating the financial and accounting activities within our organization.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and Forecasts.
Prepare the Financial and accounting reports for management.
Perform in-depth financial analysis of the financial performance
Ensure monthly reporting for the leadership team is completed on time and to a high standard.
Review and finalize all accounting work including regular month close JE, reclass, accrued expenses, Prepaid expenses, intercompany reconciliation and entries.
Manage month end close and year end financial processes and cost control in line with key timelines and accounting policies.
Provide accurate financial performance information and forecast of expected outcomes.
Coordinating the development, implementation and monitoring the accounting systems.
Manage and lead a small finance team.
Payroll Process and Accounting - collation of all inputs and uploading on to payroll software, Employee Master data maintenance, Payroll Accounting, Reconciliation, Handling/Co-ordinating employee queries and resolving.
Manage bank accounts and payments, cashflow, general Ledger, taxes, foreign exchange.
Manage the monthly Budget and provide monthly reviews.
Monitor Financial performance by proactively comparing financial activity against budget.
Monitor internal accounting controls, streamline accounting functions and operations and improve business efficiencies and reduce costs.
Manage key data requirement to support board reporting, group accounting, tax and audit requirements.
Support all Audit related activities, Process Documentation and Process Improvement.
Ad-Hoc responsibilities as required by senior Management
Skills Required:
Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in finance is highly regarded.
Strong accounting & finance background with 3+ years of experience.
Strong commercial acumen and a sharp analytical mindset.
Deep capability in excel and financial modelling, with an ability to distil complex data into clear insights.
Exceptional communication skills and comfort presenting to senior executives and boards.
Good understanding of MS-office, outlook, advance excel.
Understanding quick book and oracle applications is good to have.
