Your Opportunity
Step into a Finance Manager role supporting multi-million-dollar marketing and customer investment across Tabcorp’s Wagering business. In this influential role you’ll help shape finance decisions across media, promotions and customer initiatives — ensuring strong governance, clear insight, and better commercial outcomes.
Your Role
Reporting to the Head of Finance – Wagering & Media, you’ll provide end-to-end financial, accounting and commercial support across key operational areas. You will partner with several General Managers and Operational Leads across the Customer & Marketing business units. Acting as a trusted adviser, you’ll combine financial rigour with strong relationships to influence outcomes and strengthen performance. Specifically, you will:
Lead financial oversight and performance across marketing and customer portfolios
Challenge and optimise spend across media, promotions, sponsorships and customer initiatives to maximise return on investment
Partner with senior leaders to provide commercial insight that shapes investment decisions and prioritisation
Oversee budgeting, forecasting and reporting across cost centres and major investment programs
Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable recommendations
Manage, mentor and develop a team member
What You’ll Need To Succeed
You are a commercially minded Finance Manager who enjoys working closely with business leaders. Comfortable in both the detail and the bigger picture, you bring credibility, curiosity and sound judgement to how decisions are made. You will also possess:
CA or CPA qualification
Experience providing commercial finance support within a complex, fast-paced environment
Proven ability to influence financial outcomes and support decision-making across large cost bases or investment portfolios
Experience partnering with senior stakeholders to challenge thinking and shape commercial decisions
Strong communication and relationship building skills, with the ability to translate financial insights into clear business outcomes
A proactive, self-driven approach with the ability to operate autonomously
Why This Role
This is a Finance Manager role for emerging leaders ready to step into greater scope and influence. Sitting at the centre of a fast-paced entertainment business, you’ll gain exposure to major investment decisions across media, promotions and customer strategy.
You’ll build deep commercial capability while working closely with senior leaders, giving you both visibility and impact in how decisions are made and value is delivered across the business.
