Job Description
We are a rapidly growing SaaS Software Company seeking a proven Finance Manager to handle the entire Finance function of the company which includes (but not limited to) Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), AR, AP, Taxation (direct & indirect taxes), Statutory Compliance, Revenue Operations, Risk Analysis, Vendor Management, etc.
As a part of Finance team, your work will include but shall not be limited to:
• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including month and end-year processes, accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
• Coordinate with the company CA and complete annual audits
• Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
• Process payroll and report payroll taxes for the organization
• Examining and reimbursing expenses submitted by employees
• Manage utility, vendor, service providers payables
• Manage account receivable including generating and issuing invoices
• Assume the responsibility of receiving incoming payments and its record keeping
• Manage the status of accounts and balances and identify inconsistencies
• Update accounts receivable database with new accounts or missed payments
• Ensure all clients remain informed on their outstanding debts and deadlines
• Income tax filings and compliances
• Statutory and tax audits
• GST return filings and compliances
• Income tax and GST advisory
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
• Examining bank statements and reconciling them with general ledger entries
• Analyzing data collected in order to determine the state of the company’s financial health
• Generating financial reports that display the company’s profits, equity and cash flow
• Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information
Desired Candidate
• Bachelor's or Master’s in finance, accounting, business or related field. MBA/CA preferred
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in finance with emphasis on payable, receivables, reconciliation, compliance, reporting, etc.
• Must have experience supporting subscription/SaaS business and good understanding of SaaS business metrics and models
• Excellent problem solving and analytical abilities, attention to details
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills to effectively partner at all levels
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Proficient in financial modeling
• High integrity and performance standards. Passion for learning and continuous improvement
Education Qualification:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in finance, accounting, business or related field. CA/MBA preferred
