CIMET currently provides energy and telco comparison platforms to over 250 brands. We're expanding our team to develop 14 new verticals, including Credit Cards, Personal Loans, General Insurance and Health Insurance.

With offices in Sydney, India and the Philippines; we currently employ over 150 people across the 3 locations, this is planned to double within the next 2 years.

Role and Responsibilities of Financial Modeling:-
• Building financial models using historical data and providing forecasts based on various scenarios.
• Conducting Scenario Analysis based on macro and micro factors that will help in accessing risk.
• Developing new transaction models and enhancing the existing models.
• Recommending and Implementing processes for improvements to the budget and preparing forecasts for the company.
• Identifying the key financial and non-financial risks and recommending actions for mitigation of those risks.
• Applying appropriate sensitivity and scenario analysis to support investment actions.
• Analyzing and identifying data requirements related to derivation rules and model tracking.
• Valuation of Companies.
• Capital Structure Analysis.
• Comparable Company Analysis
• Review of financial raw data to form insights;
• Consolidation of Group balance sheet, cashflow and P&L used for valuation, and strategy purposes.
• Scenario planning, sensitivity and "what-if" modelling in Excel to support senior management/Board decision making;
• Consolidation and compilation of monthly financial results in the Consolidated Group Corporate model;
• Assessment of WACC rates
• Transaction support for potential acquisitions.
• Assist the FP&A Manager, and Senior Leadership Team with key management information to assist with business planning to support the delivery of the business strategy.
• Support in the preparation of the monthly financial reporting pack, including analysis, and dashboards.
• Support in the preparation and maintenance of the rolling 3-way financial model.
• Support in the preparation of monthly business unit reporting and analysis, by providing business unit performance/trends, combined with key KPI performance analysis and associated commentary.
• Assist with the annual budget & mid-year reforecast process, prepare, and maintain the input files and monthly analysis against budget/forecast.
• Work closely with Business Unit Leads to ensure deadlines are met consistently.
• Work with internal teams and external consultants to develop, test and present Power BI Finance Reporting.

Skills and Education

The basic educational criteria for financial modeling job include:
• Master s Degree in Finance or Business.
• Chartered Accounts, CFAs or MBAs enjoy preference.
• 3+ years’ experience.
• Strong understanding and knowledge of the fundamentals of business, financial statements, and investments.
• Proficient in research and analysis.
• Good knowledge and understanding of capital and commodity markets.
• Inclination towards the customer-oriented approach.
• Succinct communication skills. Strong collaboration skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workflow with little supervision.
• Willingness to work in the early morning shift
