About the Business Unit:
Liquor Control Victoria was established on 1 July 2022 and comprises the independent Victorian Liquor Commission and staff from the Department of Justice and Community Safety. Liquor Control Victoria is responsible for issuing liquor licences and overseeing industry compliance and enforcement to ensure that Victorians and visitors to the state enjoy safe and responsible liquor licenced environments.
About the Role:
The Finance Officer is responsible for providing project, clerical and administrative support to the broader team, to ensure cohesive team functioning, and delivery against the strategic and operational priorities of the business unit. In this role, you will work collaboratively with key stakeholders to support the objectives of Liquor Control Victoria, providing exemplary customer service and administrative support to key internal and external stakeholders and partners to support the smooth running of the business unit.
Some of your duties will include:
Reconcile payments to Liquor Control Victoria with administrative databases, in line with departmental policies and procedures.
Ensure accurate processing of a range of financial transactions, ensuring compliance with departmental and regulatory requirements.
Quality check and accurately record data using relevant systems and tools and establish and maintain accurate records using these systems and tools.

About You:
As our ideal candidate, you will possess:
Knowledge of government systems, application, and policies is desirable.
Computer literate with a working knowledge of the full range of Microsoft Windows and MS Office application suite software.
